Job Description

Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code in ASP.NET Core following best practices and coding standards. Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs. Work extensively with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks to interact with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL). Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms. Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack. Optimize application performance and scalability. Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering their technical growth. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the .NET ecosystem and web development. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base. Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical leadership. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and deployment strategies is highly desirable. Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and writing unit, integration, and potentially end-to-end tests.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 6+ years of professional experience in full-stack or primarily backend development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem. Deep understanding and proven experience with ASP.NET Core framework. Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming principles. Extensive experience working with Entity Framework Core or other ORM frameworks. Solid understanding of relational database design and querying (SQL). Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. Familiarity with authentication and authorization patterns (e.g., OAuth 2.0, JWT). Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor junior developers.
