Job Description

As a BE Architect, you are responsible for the entire life cycle of a building, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to construction supervision and ensuring compliance with all codes and regulations. Key responsibilities include creating detailed blueprints and technical drawings using CAD/BIM software, preparing design proposals for clients, managing project budgets and timelines, and coordinating with engineers and other construction professionals. They also conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve on-site issues, and perform quality control to ensure the final project meets the client's vision and all legal and safety standards.

Pre-construction and design

Client and feasibility:

Meet with clients to understand their needs and goals, then conduct feasibility studies, which include site analysis, environmental impact assessment, and research on zoning laws and building codes.

Design and documentation:

Develop and present design concepts, creating detailed architectural drawings, blueprints, and 3D models using software like AutoCAD and Revit.

Specifications and coordination:

Compile project specifications and coordinate with other professionals, such as structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers, to integrate their work into the unified design.

Permitting:

Prepare and submit necessary applications and documents to secure building permits and approvals from local authorities.

Budgeting:

Develop and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring the project stays within financial and time constraints.

Construction and completion

Construction oversight:

Visit the construction site frequently to monitor progress, ensure work aligns with design intent, and act as the primary point of liaison between the client and the contractor.

Quality control:

Review contractor submittals, such as product data, samples, and fabrication drawings, to ensure they meet project specifications and the client's vision.

Problem resolution:

Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, including managing change orders and disputes.

Compliance:

Ensure all work is carried out to specific standards, building codes, and safety guidelines.

Closeout:

Manage the final stages of the project, which may include creating a punch list of final fixes, reviewing warranties, and preparing the building for occupancy.

Post-occupancy:

May be involved in post-occupancy evaluations and remain available to assist with any issues after the project is complete.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
