to manage end-to-end architectural coordination across design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction stages. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams, consultants, and external agencies to ensure timely delivery, design quality, and budget alignment.
The Senior Architect will report to the
Operations Head
and act as a single point of contact for architectural coordination.
Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral Responsibilities
Conduct design research and support design development
Implement instructions and guidelines from Design / Construction Head
Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth project execution
Track project schedules, deliverables, and documentation
Prepare periodic reports, drawing lists, MIS, and progress updates
Arrange and conduct weekly project coordination meetings and circulate MOM
Escalate issues to senior management when required
Coordinate with Legal, QS, Contracts, Planning, Sales, Marketing, and Site teams
Prepare consultancy payment notes and track billing status
Stage-wise Responsibilities1. Design Stage
Conduct market research, project visits, and design analysis
Assist in preparing design briefs and conceptual planning
Shortlist and finalize architects and design firms for projects
Coordinate design development and finalize conceptual schemes
Ensure consistency across IFD, liaison, fire, legal, and sales drawings
Coordinate site surveys and testing as required
2. Pre-Construction Stage
Appoint consultants (Structural, MEP, Fire, Environmental, etc.)
Finalize consultant fees, deliverables, and work orders
Coordinate master planning, layouts, utilities, and services
Support material selection within budget constraints
Provide value engineering inputs for RCC, finishing, and services
Assist in budget preparation and approvals
Coordinate environmental clearance (if applicable)
Ensure timely authority approvals through liaison architects
3. Construction Stage
Coordinate drawing issuance and revisions
Conduct regular site visits to ensure execution as per drawings
Resolve site queries in coordination with consultants
Monitor budgets and highlight variances
Review mock-ups and seek approvals
Prepare project MIS and learning reports
4. Post-Construction Stage
Prepare and submit as-built drawings
Support handover activities and society formation
Collect feedback and prepare improvement reports for future projects
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong architectural coordination and documentation skills
Experience handling multi-consultant real estate projects
Good understanding of construction drawings and approvals
Budgeting, value engineering, and specification finalization
Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills
Proficiency in architectural tools and documentation systems
