The Senior Architect will lead end-to-end architectural planning, design, approvals, and execution for multiple projects. The role involves setting design vision, mentoring teams, coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with government norms, and delivering high-quality architectural outcomes from concept to completion.
Set the overall project vision and ensure alignment with company goals.
Lead design processes, ensure innovation, and maintain architectural best practices.
Mentor and develop junior architects and support staff, fostering continuous learning.
2. Project Management & Execution
Oversee multiple plotted and architectural projects from concept to completion.
Coordinate effectively with development teams, contractors, engineers, and internal departments.
Ensure all designs meet client requirements, legal requirements, budget constraints, and quality standards.
Act as a technical decision-maker ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely project execution.
3. Government Approvals & Compliance
Design projects as per government norms, development rules, and legal guidelines.
Prepare and submit all required drawings, documentation, and TNCP submissions.
Handle approvals, sanctions, and permissions from authorities in a timely manner.
Deliver presentations at Collectorate for Development Permissions and Completion Certificates.
4. Stakeholder Management
Identify and analyze stakeholders; communicate project goals and progress.
Manage expectations and resolve conflicts between technical and non-technical teams.
Provide design direction and coordinate with various internal departments as required.
5. Documentation & Technical Support
Prepare proper area statements, ratios, and project-related documentation.
Ensure accurate coordination with Survey, Structural, MEP, Conceptual, and other consultants.
Provide complete architectural information to all departments as per project needs.
6. Site Coordination & Quality Assurance
Collaborate with site teams for proper execution of design and drawings.
Ensure timely completion of design deliverables based on project timelines and budgets.
Monitor project quality, communication, and alignment with management expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
8-15 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with strong leadership exposure.
Professional Architect License/Registration (COA) is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Photoshop, BIM, and related design tools.
Strong understanding of construction details, materials, building systems, and regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects with strong attention to detail and timely delivery.
