SENIOR ARCHITECT



We are a leading real estate company in Kerala, engaged in sales and construction for high-rise apartments, shopping malls, and luxury villas having projects in Trivandrum, Kochi, Thrissur, Guruvayoor, and Palakkad, we have established ourselves as a trusted brand in the industry. We are currently looking for an Senior architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of civil engineering projects. This role combines creative design work with practical engineering knowledge to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures and knowledge about architectural design of steel building.

Educational Qualification



Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch)

from a recognized university (mandatory)

Master's in Architecture / Urban Design / Construction Management

(preferred)

Experience



7+ years

of professional experience in architecture and construction. Proven expertise in

high-rise apartments, commercial complexes, villas, and hotels

. Experience in handling projects from

conceptualization to execution

. Strong understanding of

building codes, bylaws, and approval procedures

.

Key Responsibilities


1. Design & Planning



Lead the

conceptual and schematic design

for residential, commercial, hospitality, and villa projects. Develop and review

architectural drawings, layouts, and details

with precision and design intent. Ensure designs meet

functional, aesthetic, regulatory, and sustainability

standards. Conduct

design presentations

to clients and stakeholders.

2. Project Coordination



Coordinate with

structural, MEP, landscape, and interior teams

to ensure design integration. Review and approve

construction drawings, BOQs, and material specifications

. Monitor project progress, conduct

design reviews

, and resolve technical issues. Liaise with

local authorities and K-SMART portal

for building permits and approvals.

3. Team Leadership



Supervise and mentor

junior architects and draftsmen

. Assign tasks, review work output, and maintain high-quality design standards. Conduct internal

training and quality checks

on drawing accuracy and documentation. Promote innovation, teamwork, and continuous learning within the department.

4. Client & Consultant Management



Act as a key point of contact for

clients and consultants

during design and execution. Manage

client meetings

, clarify design intent, and incorporate feedback effectively. Ensure

client satisfaction

while balancing cost, feasibility, and design vision.

5. Technical & Execution Support



Conduct

site visits

to verify design implementation and address on-site challenges. Coordinate with contractors to resolve design discrepancies during execution. Prepare and review

as-built drawings

and completion documentation.

Required Skills



Proficiency in

AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM

(mandatory) Knowledge of

SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or 3ds Max

(preferred) Familiarity with

K-SMART

or equivalent online permit systems Strong skills in

design detailing, BOQ preparation, and estimation

Excellent
