DDN Creative is a young, design-driven architecture studio based in Kozhikode, Kerala. We are committed to creating thoughtful, contextually sensitive, and innovative design solutions that merge creativity with practicality. As we grow our team, we are looking for a passionate Senior Architect who can take ownership of projects from concept to completion and help shape the future of our studio.
Key Responsibilities
Client Coordination: Engage directly with clients to understand project requirements, design intent, and expectations.
Design Development: Prepare concept and schematic designs, presentations, and detailed design documentation.
Site Documentation: Conduct site visits, document existing conditions, and ensure design intent is accurately executed on site.
Project Execution: Prepare working drawings, BOQs, and other documents required for execution.
Coordination & Management:
Liaise with contractors, consultants, vendors, and site workers.
Oversee site progress, resolve design or execution issues, and maintain project quality standards.
Manage project schedules, update progress reports, and ensure timely delivery.
Presentation & Communication: Develop clear and compelling design presentations for clients and internal reviews.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp is essential.
Familiarity with Rhino, Grasshopper, and BIM tools will be considered an advantage.
Design & Visualization: Excellent design sense and ability to translate ideas into spatial concepts.
Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Project Management: Ability to multitask, organize, and manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
Driving License: Preferred, as site visits across Kerala will be part of the role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
Registration with COA (preferred).
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architecture and construction supervision.
