Reporting To : Senior Manager Design & Architecture
Objective:
The
Manager - Design & Architecture
is responsible for overseeing design development, coordinating with consultants, ensuring compliance, and supporting execution to deliver high-quality, functional, and commercially viable architectural designs.
Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):
Design Brief Development & Consultant Coordination
Assist in preparing comprehensive design briefs aligning with project vision, market trends, and regulations.
Support in evaluating and finalizing consultants (architects, structural, MEP, interiors, facade, sustainability).
Concept Design & Stakeholder Engagement
Assist in refining design concepts in collaboration with internal teams (sales, marketing, finance).
Coordinate with external consultants to ensure designs align with commercial viability and project objectives.
Schematic & Design Development Coordination
Facilitate coordination between consultants and internal teams to finalize schematic design.
Track and manage design iterations, ensuring timely approvals and compliance with project requirements.
Statutory Approvals & Compliance
Ensure submission of statutory drawings and regulatory documents as per timelines.
Liaise with consultants and compliance teams to address regulatory feedback and secure necessary approvals.
Tender Documentation & GFC Drawings
Assist in preparing and reviewing tender documentation and ensuring clarity for contractor bidding.
Coordinate with consultants to issue
Good for Construction (GFC)
drawings within project schedules.
Material Selection & Vendor Coordination
Work closely with vendors, consultants, and procurement teams to finalize materials and specifications.
Ensure detailed material samples, mock-ups, and approvals before execution.
Site Support & Execution Oversight
Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to design intent and address technical queries.
Resolve RFIs and clarify contractor queries to maintain seamless execution.
Stakeholder & Client Communication
Address design-related queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
Ensure project teams and execution teams are aligned with approved designs and specifications.
Adoption of Digital Tools & Process Improvement
Encourage the use of
BIM, 3D modelling, and digital visualization tools
to enhance design coordination.
Identify process improvements to streamline design workflows and documentation.
Team Support & Knowledge Sharing
Assist in mentoring junior architects and design coordinators.
Support training initiatives to enhance design efficiency and compliance understanding.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
