Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of
architectural detailed drawings
, working drawings, and construction documents.
Contribute to the
design and planning of healthcare facilities
, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.
Work on
interior design concepts and execution
, from layouts to finishes, ensuring a balance of functionality and aesthetics.
Participate in
master planning projects
, integrating design with site context, urban design principles, and client requirements.
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Review, coordinate, and guide junior architects and design team members.
Conduct regular
site visits
to monitor work progress, quality, and adherence to design intent.
Stay updated with
emerging materials, design trends, and technologies
to integrate into practice.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related design/drafting tools
.
Knowledge of
hospital design standards
, healthcare workflows, and space programming is a strong plus.
Excellent understanding of
building codes, by-laws, and construction practices
.
Strong conceptual and design development abilities.
Proven leadership, coordination, and mentoring skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight timelines.
Strong communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch). Master's Degree preferred but not mandatory.
4-7 years of proven professional experience in architectural practice.
Prior experience in
healthcare, institutional, or large-scale projects
will be given preference.
Registered with Council of Architecture (CoA) or eligible.
