We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Architect with strong experience in hotel and retail design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent design sensibility, strong technical drawing skills, in-depth material knowledge, and the ability to handle project coordination from concept to execution. This is a leadership-oriented role that involves close interaction with clients, consultants, and internal departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architectural design for hospitality and retail interior projects from concept through execution.
Prepare and review detailed drawings, GFCs, layouts, and construction documents.
Develop mood boards, finishes palettes, and color boards aligned with brand and design vision.
Create hand-drawn sketches, conceptual layouts, and quick design ideations.
Coordinate effectively with MEP, structural, and service consultants to ensure integrated design.
Interact with clients to present concepts, understand requirements, and obtain approvals.
Manage internal team members and guide junior architects and designers within the design studio.
Oversee BOQ preparation with support from estimation and procurement teams.
Ensure design compliance with local regulations, safety norms, and brand guidelines.
Conduct regular site visits for design validation and execution quality checks.
Handle vendor coordination, sample approvals, and on-site design clarifications.
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institute.
Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture/interior design with at least 3 years in hotel or retail projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
Strong understanding of materials, finishes, color palettes, and design detailing.
Solid knowledge of MEP services coordination within interior design projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent client communication and interpersonal abilities.
Creative thinker with sharp visualization and spatial planning capabilities.
Knowledge of project costing, estimation, and BOQ preparation.
