Job Summary

This position provides input, support, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. This position provides input to applications development project plans and integrations. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance. He/She provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.

Responsibilities:

Expertise in GCP data engineering with BigQuery & advanced BigQuery SQL Expertise in designing ETL pipeline in GCP Expertise in ETL tools used in GCP (like Cloud storage, Dataflow, Cloud composer etc.) and associated scripting like Python Expertise in data modelling & database schema design and advanced topics like clustering, performance tuning, partitioning etc. Expertise in Looker or equivalent data analytics tool and connecting to BigQuery Knowledge in PowerBi to support current dashboard Knowledge in Java, Springboot and/or springbatch Experience in Database & data migration to cloud from legacy systems. Knowledge about GCP data governance, protection & security setup Knowledge about CI/CD pipeline for data pipeline deployments Knowledge about monitoring pipeline & jobs and troubleshooting Experience working in Agile / Scrum methodologies Skilled in Azure ADO capabilities, SAFe agile practices, and tools Experience translating business needs into technical solutions Knowledge in software development to meet Product Centric alignment Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred
