JOB DESCRIPTION Designation / Role Name : Senior Application Engineer Years of Experience to be hired: 4-6 years Location : Chennai : Lead the FCEC MEA Relief valves, Industrial regulators and Natural Gas regulators project and MRO quotation business Sizing and selection of valves using PRV2SIZE/FF2 and review project specifications to prepare deviations list Guide/Mentor the team in reviewing project specifications and train on customer specific processing (Shell, BP,Aramco etc) Drive synergy in working with the WA factory to get quotes for special constructions, clarifications on project specifications etc Costing for the valves using SAP and calculate overall project gross margin. Analyze cost to find opportunities to reduce the same through sourcing recommendations/discussions with procurement team Team\'s designated checker to check quotations and track employee performance. Track internal and external errors and document to provide targeted feedback Identify opportunities and work with concerned teams to expand teams\' scope of support Provide technical support for BOM /factory clarifications and assist with change orders Review and manage workload and service levels(RDSL,PDSL,RFT) of assigned team. Track team\'s performance/maintain records using CRM and generate reports on a monthly basis Work with MEA GPP & Inside Sales leads to decide project strategy. Represent the team in process improvement meetings Manage performance evaluation process and maintain skill matrix of assigned teams Focus on resource development. Identify team training needs and work with diverse groups to arrange the same Develop an overall understanding of Quotation process across major manufacturing locations in USA, Europe, China and India (Sanmar). Analyze work processes and implement improvements to increase quality and productivity Represent the PRM MEA Quotation team for ISO 9001 2015 certification process Requirements: Minimum requirement : Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation or Chemical . 4-6 years of experience in Regulator or Relief valves Inside sales function is preferred . Ability to co ordinate with multiple stakeholders in a project . Knowledge of ASME,ANSI and relevent standards . Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions that are technically proficient and on time
