Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Application Developer with deep expertise in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) to lead the design, development, and implementation of complex data transformation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EDI standards such as EDIFACT and ANSI X12, and a proven ability to operate in Agile environments. This role demands both technical leadership and hands-on development skills to drive enterprise-level integration projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex data transformation maps and flows using IBM ITX.
• Lead EDI implementation and mapping efforts involving EDIFACT, ANSI X12, and custom formats.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Guide and mentor a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support production data transformation processes.
• Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
• Document design specifications, workflows, and user guides for developed solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in application development, with at least 6 years in IBM ITX.
• Strong hands-on experience in EDI mapping, especially with EDIFACT and ANSI X12 standards.
• Proven ability to lead development teams and deliver high-quality, maintainable code.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other EDI tools or B2B integration platforms.
• Familiarity with XML, JSON, and REST/SOAP-based web services.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or healthcare industry EDI workflows.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or other IBM integration tools is a plus.
