Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated

Senior Application Developer

with strong expertise in

C and C++ programming languages

. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications, with

preferred experience in Mainframe environments

. The role requires working in

Agile teams

to deliver robust and scalable solutions aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in

C and C++

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine software requirements. Analyze existing software for improvements and participate in architectural reviews. Integrate with and maintain systems on

Mainframe platforms

(z/OS, COBOL, JCL) as needed. Apply

Agile methodologies

to plan, deliver, and continuously improve features and applications. Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers. Create and maintain documentation of systems, processes, and workflows. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on development experience with

C and C++

in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization. Experience with debugging tools, compilers, and memory management in C/C++. Familiarity with

Agile software development practices

(Scrum, Kanban). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Exposure to

Mainframe technologies

, including

COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM

, or experience with

z/OS

operating systems. Understanding of legacy system modernization and integration strategies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell is a plus.
