The Appian Developer will be part of the RWS Appian COE team responsible for design, development, and implementation of the Helix and Workzone low-code applications using the Appian platform to automate business processes. Key responsibilities include creating interfaces, process models, and integrations, working with data structures, and collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional solutions. The responsibilities also involve testing, debugging, performance tuning, and documentation for the applications.

Job Overview
Key Responsibilities

• Design and build applications using Appian's low-code tools, including interfaces, process models, records, and reports.
• Develop and implement business processes and workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Integrate Appian applications with other systems, APIs, and databases to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure application quality and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, test plans, and user manuals.
• Work with cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and support to other developers.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in the Appian low-code platform, including experience with SAIL, process models, and data types.
• Understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) concepts.
• Experience with SQL for data access and manipulation.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
