About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate

Android Developer

to design, build, and maintain high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in native Android app development, excellent coding skills, and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

native Android applications

using

Kotlin

and/or

Java

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Work with APIs, third-party libraries, and data sources to integrate functionality. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Debug, test, and fix issues to maintain high app quality. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Manage app releases to the

Google Play Store

. Maintain documentation and follow coding best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum

4 years

of hands-on experience in

Android app development

. Strong proficiency in

Kotlin

and/or

Java

. Experience with

Android Studio

Gradle

, and

Android SDK

. Sound knowledge of

RESTful APIs

,

JSON

, and

third-party integrations

. Understanding of

Material Design

UI/UX principles

, and

responsive layouts

. Experience with

Firebase

SQLite

, or other local databases. Familiarity with

version control systems

(e.g., Git, Bitbucket). Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Preferred (Good to Have)

Experience in

Flutter

or

React Native

(cross-platform development). Knowledge of

MVVM architecture

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
