Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, JSON, etc.). Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Requirements:

2-4 years of hands-on experience in Android development. Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java. Solid understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries (Retrofit, Glide/Picasso, etc.). Familiarity with modern Android development tools and libraries (Jetpack components, LiveData, ViewModel, Room, etc.). Understanding of MVVM or other architectural patterns. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD tools and unit/UI testing frameworks. Published one or more Android apps on the Play Store. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
