Senior Analytics Specialist

This is a Senior Analytics Specialist role, reporting to M&S Analytics Manager in Robotics & Discrete Automation division located in Bangalore. Support the Robotics global Commercial and Pricing Excellence team and Robotics Division Sales leadership with professional analysis and reporting of complex pricing, business and market data to derive actionable insights and improve management decision-making.

Your responsibilities

• Driving analysis of historical pricing, business and market data to identifying trends, patterns and root causes of changes in key metrics, e.g. order intake and related profitability, market share, hit rates, etc.
• Assessing market and order-related data from a variety of sources and using it to derive insights into market development, competitor performance and pricing strategies.
• Integration of Data Analytics and Market Intelligence, driving efficiency in the process of Market sizing, competitor analysis and establishing data capturing and mining processes for transactional tasks.
• Developing and managing dashboards and reports and integrating the dashboards with customized views and analytics according to given priorities.
• Create and maintain relevant reports, including assurance of data quality, access management, collecting requirements for new reports and agreeing priorities for development.
• Support business and sales leadership with ad-hoc deep dive analysis as required.
• Work cross-function with front end units, process owners, information system support, etc. to continuously improve data quality.
• Conceptualize and implement tools and methods to support all business analytics and related reporting.
• Perform explorative research to identify new methods, tools and data sources.

Your background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Business Intelligence, Analytics, Market Intelligence or Sales Operations role with a proven track record of creating tangible impact.
• Must have experience in field of Analytics; Market Intelligence background within industrial goods/OEMs preferable.
• Deep expertise with state-of-the-art tools (required Power BI, Power Query, SFDC, MS office standards; additionally, Tableau and SQL preferred) and strong in statistical and quantitative analysis.
• Familiarity with database management and working with large data sets from multiple sources.
