With over 950+ global FlyMates, representing more than 40 nationalities, and in 14 offices world-wide, we're looking for FlyMates to join the next stage of our journey as we continue to grow.
Design, build, and optimize robust, reusable, and scalable data pipelines and transformations (using dbt, SQL, and cloud data warehouse technologies).
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure reliable data ingestion and with analysts to enable self-service analytics.
Develop and maintain well-documented data models, definitions, and metadata to ensure data consistency and transparency.
Partner with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into high-quality analytical datasets.
Implement and maintain data quality checks, testing frameworks, and monitoring processes.
Support performance optimization across ETL/ELT processes and query execution.
Drive best practices in data governance, version control, and documentation within the analytics engineering team.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of data workflows and standards.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with data transformation tools (e.g., dbt).
Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks). Big Query preferred.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles (e.g., Kimball, Data Vault, or modern ELT architectures).
Strong Python skills for data manipulation and automation.
Experience implementing CI/CD practices in data environments (e.g., Git-based workflows, testing frameworks).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have:
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Mode).
Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
Understanding of data privacy, compliance, and security principles.
Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
