General Summary:

About the role:

Our commercially focused Tax team are looking for a Senior Analyst to expand our capabilities to provide best-in-class Tax information and insights when partnering with General Manager and wider Qualcomm organization to drive the business forwards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the EMEA VAT lead on EMEA VAT compliance;
• Maintain VAT and Tax compliance calendar and monitor submission deadlines;
• Assist in the preparation of/and request VAT reports in preparation for the tax filings;
• Send VAT reports to the compliance provider for preparation for the tax filings;
• Download and save submitted tax filings and submission confirmations;
• To download invoices as and when required; invoice sample review;
• To perform tax administrative duties for the tax team. To include:
• Raising PO requests across EMEA and liaising with procurement teams
• Tracking of compliance fees invoicing from service providers
• Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the business about VAT compliance;
• Provide support with documentation as and when required;
• Complete monthly VAT balance sheet reconciliations for EMEA;
• Assist with integration of acquisitions and improvement of internal processes;
• Work closely with the wider tax team members to support them in their daily tasks;
• Ad hoc tasks when required.

Requirements:

• ERP systems - SAP \xe2\x80\x93 medium
• Excel \xe2\x80\x93 high
• Tax knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 low-medium experience
• Ability to collaborate remotely with a cross functional global team
• Self-motivated, with an ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines

Minimum Qualifications:

• Tax qualification, qualified accountant or equivalent degree with relevant taxation experience
• Up to 3 years of tax experience focused on compliance \xe2\x80\x93 industry preferred
• Working knowledge of EMEA VAT compliance

Minimum Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree.

• 2+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
