Role purpose


  • The administrator will be end to end responsible for Sales Operations & commissions for 18 countries.
  • The primary responsibility would be to provide complete, accurate and timely commission calculations, monthly reporting, data clean up , Issues resolution which conform to Colt Sales Incentive Plan.
  • The person will work closely with the Sales community to ensure that the appropriate account executives/partners are setup in the commission systems, allocated the right targets, accounts, and incentive attributes. Administrator will be responsible for the input and update of revenues and for calculating the commission due to each account executive.
  • The administrator is expected to contribute to the Strategy & key decision making process and provide recommendations where appropriate (e.g. year end planning & target setting for new plans).
  • The administrator will have a responsibility to ensure that the processes and supporting procedures are accurate, and that the integrity of the data is maintained in the COLT systems (mainly via an SQL based administration interface). They will also generate regular reports to the sales community.




Key accountabilities


  • Ensuring the monthly processing as per Commission Calendar
  • Reconciliation of Commissions Payouts with Company P&L figures
  • Publish Monthly Reports & MIS to key Stakeholders & Op Co
  • Co ordinate with Sales Ops and Account executives/partners to resolve queries on monthly Commission payout figures
  • Client / stakeholder management - Sales Director / Managers/Sales Force/ Partners
  • Provide Ad hoc reports to business as per the requirements
  • Ensuring that processes and procedures available are updated and maintained in a structured way.
  • Dedicated to long term strategy & support his Supervisor to work optimally e.g. On SLA ; Improving Quality; KPIs.
  • Provide value-add analysis to aid interpretation and understanding.
  • Support other ad hoc requirements as requested.
  • Act as single point of contact regarding any of the commission related issue.

Skills & Experience

  • Financially literate.
  • Excellent communication - English fluent (written & spoken) and organizational skills.
  • 2 to 5 Years extremely strong in MS Excel (Advanced) & MS Office.
  • Possess a consistent and methodical approach to tackling problems.
  • Logical thinker ‘outside the box’
  • Analytical, with ability to see the bigger picture.
  • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive & Managing the right exceptions.



Qualifications

Candidate should be a Commerce graduate or professionally semi –qualified (MBA with Finance) and have worked in a Sales environment preferably focused on a Sales Incentive Programme or Commission activity.
