This role in summary
Lead end-to-end delivery to achieve attribute targets and support/ execute technical roadmap for his/ her sub-System/ module-set including project execution, strategic initiatives, knowledge creation/capture and technical mentorship.
Your responsibilities will include
Responsible to perform full system wiring Architecture independently and deliver solutions to stakeholders
Prepare & keep updates wiring guidelines ,Tier-I & Tier-II complexity management.
Identify new, unique and difficult system level wiring requirements
Drive strategic initiatives for global wiring harness subsystems
Review & release Standards for Wiring Globally & adherence to the Standards
Identify and develop new improvement areas in collaboration with global stakeholders
Wiring Process tools preparation & updation.
Cost Idea generation for relevant targets with wiring / platform teams
Prepare & release base DVPs & update in a timely manner.
Tier-I Harness & Tier-II components roadmap preparation
Conduct subsystem design reviews interfacing with leadership and cross functional for gaining alignment at each build.
Support Material Value Team (MVT) initiatives for process and cost improvements.
Drive Architecture reuse Plan and Integration.
Minimum requirements
Education Qualification : BE/ME Electrical & Electronics / BE/ME Mechanical / BE Electronics & Telecommunication
Preferred skills and experiences
Responsible for driving subsystem/ module(s) through WPD process
Leads attribute target setting for the subsystem / module for specific projects
Lead systemic problem solving efforts input to close knowledge gaps in major subsystems in the development of more robust system models and reusable engineering tools.
Use proper tools to report problem-solving (A3), Concept selection (Pugh Matrix), Decisions taken (Decision Matrix), 6 Sigma Tools (Thought Map, Product Map, Process Map, etc), Requirements Management as needed
