The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality analytical outcomes while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced analytical testing using techniques such as LC-MS/MS, HPLC, HPTLC, ICP-MS, GC-MS/MS, and UV-Visible Spectroscopy, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of results.
Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods in compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines, ensuring robustness and repeatability.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instruments within defined performance specifications; troubleshoot instrument issues and coordinate with service engineers as required.
Manage laboratory inventory, ensuring adequate availability of consumables, chemicals, and supplies.
Prepare comprehensive analytical reports, including raw data, calculations, and conclusions, and maintain documentation in accordance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols, quality management systems, and regulatory requirements; participate in internal, external, and accreditation audits.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Project Management to support project and business objectives.
Train, mentor, and evaluate junior analysts and technical staff on analytical techniques, instrumentation, and laboratory best practices.
Serve as the primary operational point of contact for clients, providing testing updates, timelines, and technical clarifications, and supporting business development activities.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, data integrity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction, including LEAN methodologies.
Qualification:
Ph.D. or M.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
5+ years of laboratory experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role within a testing environment.
Strong knowledge of quality systems and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025).
Demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to train, motivate, and manage technical teams.
Proficiency in LIMS and standard office software tools.
