Job Overview Multicultural Marketing Analyst plays a key role to drive actionable recommendations in various business, marketing, and commercial initiatives by providing data analysis and insights. These analysis and insights will be used across North America Retail teams including Brand, Sales, Brand Experience and Customer Marketing Teams to identify and assess business opportunities in the key Hispanic market. The ideal candidate thrives in a data-driven environment with a strong quantitative bent, enjoys analytical challenges, is attentive to details and due diligence, can quickly find connections across varied data sets, and effectively communicate data findings and implications to business teams. Job Responsibilities 70% of Time: Driving Business Intelligence through Analytics & Insights - Collaborate with the Multicultural Marketing Team and Brand Teams to identify multicultural business opportunity areas across prioritized Hispanic brands prioritized for engagement in the US Hispanic market. - Leverage geographic datasets & panel dashboards to help identify growth opportunities: o Explore internal database capabilities to identify and assess growth opportunities across US Hispanic markets and consumer segments. o Using geographic-centric datasets (zip code, trade areas, major markets) in line with other internal panel dashboards and self-service capabilities. - Reporting and Insights o Prepare reports with analysis, summary, and excellent visualization. o Utilizes market and industry knowledge to translate data into meaningful business insights. o Leverage proprietary capabilities & additional data sets as needed to validate and find deeper insights. 20% of Time: Deliver Executional Excellence, and Project Management - Ensure TAT is upheld via awareness on process requirements, meeting benchmark time estimates and through articulate expectation settings with the stakeholder - Guarantee data quality and accuracy through thorough comprehension of request, accurate application of tools/platforms with an eye for detail and a robust data & logic check - Project Management: Juggle multiple projects incld. long range projects and own project scoping, to trouble shooting, collaborating, to timely communication/iterations with peers and stakeholders to high impact completion and presentation 10% of Time: Building Stakeholder Relationships - Brand themselves as a SME on multiple fronts - Understand client needs/ customer request and transform into tangible results for business - Ability to recommend and influence changes to process/procedures - Ability to communicate challenges in an assertive manner - Demonstrates agility to work in a Matrix Org structure - Articulate and comprehensive presentations to the audience Education & Experience Education: Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Bachelors/Masters Preferred Major Area of Study: Business Management, Statistics, Marketing, Retail, Economics Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 3-6 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry, Data Modelling preferred History of collaboration with cross-functional teams Preferred years of related experie nce: 5-8 years of relevant Business Reporting, Analytics & Visualization experience in CPG (or related) industry, Data Modelling preferred History of collaboration with cross-functional teams Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed . Strong analytical skills and experience aggregating internal and external data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data) of information to build meaningful insights . Proficient with Advanced Excel & Tableau skills . Understanding of CPG basic terminology and work processes . Strong business acumen, linking analytics with consumer insights to deliver results . Ability to work independently and pick up new systems, data, tools - and rapidly apply them to delivery actionable insights . Multitasking ability - work on a host of tools/databases and softwares/platforms effectively to manifest superior results . Natural curiosity, comfort with quantitative problem solving, and ability to clearly communicate complex results . Curiosity about USA Hispanic consumer segments, regional cultures and key geographies . Experience working in a matrixed/cross-functional organization with partners in GIC, SRM, Marketing, Sales . Proven knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within General Mills
