Summary

Risk Monitoring and Production Support team is a centralized application support team working in a


sensitive and critical environment, with a combination of dedicated resources, technical and


interpersonal attributes to provide a specialized support on the incidents raised by IT Market Risk


department. The applications supported by the team is mostly written in Java, C++; Scala, SQL and


Scripting. It also features Hadoop, Oracle and Sybase databases

Role :

The role for Application Support Engineer aims to:


o Work in a L2/3 IT functional Support


o Provide production support with dedicated KPI's to end-users for all application issues and respond to queries in a timely manner


o Investigating and debugging logs and source code to find bugs and issues


o Effectively manage and solve production incidents


o Pro-actively provide information to users on the progress of outstanding support


o Monitor applications in an effective way, compliant with the established SLA for the business lines


o Contribute consistently to the continuous automation and improvement of the applications


o Enhance user's satisfaction by solving incidents/problems effectively and efficiently


o Ensure the proper troubleshooting and incidents follow up


o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentations

Must-have

Consulting profile with experience in process and chain improvement


o Academic background in either Computer Science (or similar IT degree), Economics or Finance


o Proven experience in SQL programming languages


o Proficient in English (>B2)


o Experience in L2/3 IT functional Support


o Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability, efficient multi-tasking in a fast-paced,


constantly evolving environment


o Empathy and ownership of customer issues


o Strong interpersonal, relationship, management, and communication skills


o Ability to promote process improvement


o Understanding in object-oriented languages

Nice-to-have

o Experience with Oracle; Hive database


o Experience with Unix, Business Intelligence


o Familiarity with basic ITIL


o Familiarity with basic financial concepts
