Job Description

Key Responsibilities



Application Development:



Develop and maintain .NET MVC web applications for Research Agent, Research Checker, and Voice Agent workflows Implement automated case assignment logic using FIFO methodology based on Code02 EndDateTime Build responsive user interfaces for case management, progress tracking, and agent dashboards Create secure API endpoints for real-time case updates and third-party integrations

Database Development:



Design and optimize SQL Server database schemas for case management, agent assignments, and workflow tracking Develop stored procedures for complex business logic including eligibility checks and priority calculations Implement database triggers and constraints to maintain data integrity across workflow transitions Create efficient queries for case retrieval, reporting, and performance monitoring

API Integration & Development:



Develop RESTful APIs for Publisher API integration and real-time case status updates Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms for multi-tier access Build API endpoints for mobile and desktop agent applications Create integration points with FedEx's existing package tracking and customer management systems

Workflow Implementation:



Code business logic for automated case routing between Research, Checker, and Voice Agent tiers Implement time-based processing rules (8:15 PM cutoffs, 30-minute auto-expiration logic) Develop escalation mechanisms and priority-based case assignment algorithms Build progress indicators and real-time status tracking functionality

Quality Assurance:



Write comprehensive unit tests and integration tests for all developed components Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards documentation Debug and resolve complex issues across the application stack Support UAT activities and assist with production deployments

Required Technical Skills



Core Technologies:



ASP.NET MVC 5/Core:

4+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications

C#:

Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, LINQ, and async/await patterns

SQL Server:

Expert-level skills in T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization

Entity Framework:

Experience with Code First approach, migrations, and complex relationship mapping

Web APIs:

RESTful API development, JSON serialization, and HTTP protocols

Frontend Technologies:



HTML5/CSS3:

Modern web standards and responsive design principles

JavaScript/jQuery:

Client-side scripting, AJAX calls, and DOM manipulation

Bootstrap:

UI framework for responsive web design

Additional Technical Requirements:



Version Control:

Git/TFS experience with branching and merging strategies

Database Design:

Normalization, indexing strategies, and performance tuning

Authentication:

Forms authentication, claims-based security, and role-based access control

Logging & Monitoring:

Experience with logging frameworks (NLog, Serilog) and application monitoring

Experience Requirements



4-6 years

of professional software development experience

3+ years

specific experience with .NET MVC framework

2+ years

of SQL Server development and optimization Experience with high-volume, mission-critical applications Background in workflow management or case management systems preferred Experience with contact center or customer service applications is a plus

Educational Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field Microsoft certifications (MCSD, MCSA) preferred but not required Relevant professional certifications in .NET technologies
