The Global Financial Planning & Analysis Group performs analyses and financial reporting of Firmwide results and originates and executes strategic Firm initiatives. The team works closely with Blackstone management to perform corporate finance analysis.o Prepare, consolidate and analyze Blackstone's financial forecast and weekly reporting for senior managemento Prepare, collect, consolidate and analyze Blackstone's financial results as part of quarterly earnings processo Conduct financial analysis on Blackstone's business units and corporate groupso Financial modeling / valuation analysiso Draft presentations and memorandums for senior managemento Partner with Business Finance and Investor Relations teams for client and investor meetings and inquireso Implement new processes/systems creating operational efficiencies and reporting enhancementso Prepare quarterly board and audit committee packages, analyst call materials and Senior Managing Director presentationso Aid in the preparation of strategic plans, budgets and new business analyseso Conduct research on competitors' earnings and financial analysiso Provide analysis and support to the CFO and Management on an ad hoc basiso Special projects in support of the Blackstone's businessesQualifications:o 4+ years of related experienceo Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; strong academic record o FP&A, management reporting, or advisory services experience preferredo Strong technical, analytical, financial modeling and quantitative skillso Strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; experience with Essbase, Anaplan or Tableau a pluso Detail-oriented, highly organizedo Strong presentation skillso Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects while prioritizing deliverables and meeting deadlineso Ability to work effectively in a team environment; proactive and takes initiativeo Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalo A desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with a positive attitudeo Highly motivated and enthusiastico Relationship building skills with internal and external counterparties
