Introduction: Details of control roles and responsibilities of persons performing the procedure. The AML Query Handler is responsible for the following duties: \xef\x82\xa7 Making a decision on whether the control check is a Pass, Pass with Guidance or is Unsatisfactory.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensuring that the feedback is delivered to the Team Leader and the individual concerned, if applicable, within the SLA
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensuring that the feedback is logged on the respective spreadsheet
\xef\x82\xa7 Raise any concerns or trends that are highlighted as part of the QA checks

What will you be doing? \xef\x82\xa7 Process transactions in accordance to approved process and procedures, international regulations and within pre-agreed service levels and with speed and accuracy
\xef\x82\xa7 Adhere to quality control discipline, procedures and checks at all times
\xef\x82\xa7 Day to day query resolution, with upward escalation of more complex queries to the management team
\xef\x82\xa7 Report issues and concerns as soon as possible to senior/ team leaders/ managers etc. in time and with complete information, in which effort is made to prevent or limit possible damage
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist team manager in administration of the section, including organizing workflow, queue management & query resolution
\xef\x82\xa7 May be involved in the retrieval and distribution of information, either on paper or any other electronic medium
\xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for driving own performance management, collating relevant documentation, preparing for and arranging self-performance reviews

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

• Should have completed any bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in regular course.
• 0 - 5 years of Experience in AML/KYC
• Minimum 3 years of Transaction Monitoring experience is Mandate
• Should be flexible for any shifts
• Excellent attention to detail and look to improve processes where relevant.
• Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Skills that will help you in the role:

• The Analyst should be able to identify key issues and suspicions which relate to money laundering or terrorist financing during the course of investigation, escalate them appropriately.
• The Analyst should also ensure that the AML checks adhere to the relevant regulations, guidelines and processes that are in place to ensure Compliance.
• Should have worked on all Risk types and individually able to classify a risk of both individual and entities.
• Analyze transactions, documentation and negative news in order to determine Client Risk Profile as established under the Global TM Procedures
• Maintain strong skills in Microsoft applications software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc).
