Introduction: The role in the Prime Derivatives department is expected to understand the working of the Futures and the OTC product and Understand the risk in the product. Design controls to ensure the risk is captured and is well articulated and also draw a plan to have the same resolved. What will you be doing . Review the Stability of the controls and challenge the shortcoming in the same. . Work along with the Ops team to understand the issues / concerns and have the same addressed in correct forums . Strong understanding of different exchanges and the Futures /OTC product . Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Middle Office environment and the front-to-back processes to perform the BAU daily tasks, such as Reconciliations, Liaising with different team to get issues resolved, Trade Bookings, UT controls . Fostering excellent working relationship with internal counterparts (i.e. Senior Management, IT, Desk, Sales team, TCU, Settlements, Finance). . Strong/Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly articulate complicated issues to management and other impacted areas and ensure timely resolution of breaks and issues. . Challenge processes in order to achieve more effective processes and efficiency saves to the firm. What we're looking for: . 3-4 years' relevant experience . Escalation Management .
