Roles & Responsibilities:



Core Responsibilities:




The BA team comprises business intelligence and digital consulting professionals with expertise in the domain of e-commerce/online retail focused on customer analytics and insights. The team uses the power of data analytics and


industry research to ensure supreme customer experience on Lowes.com, which is one of the most crucial levers in driving online revenue growth. As a Senior Analyst your day to day activity would involve :

Analytics strategy:



Develop and execute the overall analytics strategy

for the e-commerce business, aligning it with the business goals and objectives. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish reporting frameworks to track and measure e-commerce performance Contribute to the development and implementation of data strategies and architectures. Define data requirements, data flows, and data integration processes to support business objectives and enable data-driven decision-making.

AOP Attainment & Experience Optimization:



Monitoring and Optimization of Key Metrics:

Initiatives to monitor and optimize critical performance indicators such as Average Order Value (AOV), conversion rates, and site visits, ensuring the category meets its Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets.

Proactive Attainment Gap Reporting:

Take charge of identifying and reporting performance gaps, leading cross-functional efforts to address and close these gaps effectively.

Category-Level E-commerce Analysis:

Gain a deep understanding of the online and e-commerce business at a category level. Analyze customer behavior, product preferences, and qualitative feedback to derive actionable insights. Utilize advanced analytics methods and build real-time dashboards to support data-driven decision-making and business recommendations.

Market Research & Competitive Intelligence:

Conduct thorough market studies and gather competitive intelligence to benchmark industry best practices. Apply these insights to enhance the digital customer experience and stay ahead in the market.

Complete Ownership - Ideation to Implementation:



End-to-end Project Delivery:

Oversee and guide projects from conceptualization to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Mentorship and Guidance:

Act as a mentor and provide support to junior analysts, helping them achieve high-quality outcomes

Seamless Communication:



Stakeholder Communication:

Communication efforts with all stakeholders, ensuring transparency, clarity, and alignment on timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

Cross-functional collaboration:

Foster collaboration across teams and departments, ensuring that project outcomes are optimized and that all voices are heard.

Effective Communication:

Develop and deliver compelling presentations and communications to partner teams and leadership. Ensure that the right messages are conveyed clearly and effectively to the appropriate audiences.

Timely Execution of Calendarized Projects:



Project Execution & Prioritization:

Ensure the timely execution of key initiatives, such as Refresh and Reinvent projects, while effectively managing competing priorities.

Strategic Oversight:

Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure that all deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and contribute to the company's success.

Proactive Issue Identification & Resolution:



Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution:

Proactively identify potential risks or shortfalls in project attainment. Lead the charge in developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA):

Conduct thorough RCAs for any issues that arise, ensuring that corrective actions are put in place to prevent future occurrences.

Relationship Management:



Stakeholder & Vendor Relations:

Cultivate and manage strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and merchants to drive category growth and achieve business goals.

Global Team Collaboration:

Work effectively within a large global team, partnering across functions to support enterprise-level initiatives and drive success.
