Job Summary:

The Accounting & Finance Manager will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and managing a team of accounting professionals. He/she should have excellent communication skills, deep knowledge of accounting principles, a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

Oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with regular, clear, and insightful financial information.

Team Management:

Lead and supervise a team of accountants and financial professionals. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members. Set performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and address any performance issues.

Financial Analysis:

Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Provide insights into financial trends, costs, and revenues. Recommend actions for improving financial performance and operational efficiency.

Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department. Streamline financial processes and workflows to optimize productivity.

Compliance:

Ensure that client accounts comply with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities during financial audits.

Problem-Solving:

Identify and resolve accounting and financial issues that may arise in client accounts. Provide timely solutions to address client concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and client management roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including accounting software and MS Excel.
