The Job
Pitney Bowes is seeking an SRE System Engineering OLFM (Oracle Lease and Financial Management) professional. This position focuses on guiding and assisting customer through day-to-day system support of Oracle E-Business Suite (OLFM) application. The SRE Engineer will be responsible for working with the client team to resolve issues, troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and continue system enhancement to optimize business operations. The resource should have extensive knowledge and experience with Oracle Lease Management and Financial business processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage, install, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) administration.
  • Oversee Oracle Enterprise Monitoring (OEM), Oracle WebLogic, and Oracle EBS environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in fundamental database administration tasks, including database management, web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis.
  • Possess strong proficiency in Oracle Database (versions 11g, 12c, 19c), focusing on backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with application teams and business users to support the release and deployment of applications within Oracle E-Business Suite.
  • Assist in planning and executing upgrades and migrations of Oracle EBS and databases.
  • Ensure the stability and availability of Oracle EBS application databases.
  • Manage the Oracle EBS application life cycle, including applying AD/TXK, Delta, and PSU patches from Oracle.
  • Implement and renew security certificates, such as TLS 1.2 and wildcard certificates.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of the Oracle EBS database refresh process.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the AIX operating system and its functionalities.
  • Exhibit excellent practical experience and deep knowledge of Concurrent Manager and its operations.
  • Conduct business impact analysis, gather requirements, and design high-level and detailed system solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams and customers to resolve issues related to projects and existing databases.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and implementation of Oracle EBS solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong technical proficiency in SQL, PLSQL, XML Publisher, Forms, Reports (RDF, XML), and workflows.
  • Contribute to automating system administration tasks using scripting languages.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Oracle EBS and system-related issues, collaborating with Oracle for service requests when necessary.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and updates.
  • Help implement security best practices for Oracle EBS applications and systems.
  • Stay updated on and apply cloud computing concepts as applicable.
Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Oracle e-business suite R12 application and administration.
  • Hands on experience with Oracle databases (versions 11g, 12c, 19c)
  • Experience with Oracle performance monitoring, tuning, and optimization
  • Experience with Concurrent Manger
  • Experience performing DR switchover/failover
  • Understanding of IBM AIX operating system and functionality.
  • Scripting skills (e.g. SQL, PLSQL, Python, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git.
Good to have:
  • Experience with IBM AIX on P9 frame
  • Experience with cloud services (Oracle, AWS, Microsoft Azure) a plus
  • Knowledge of Oracle EB integration with SAP and CPQ.
  • Familiar with JSM (Jira Service Management) solution.
  • Experience with Vertex application integration.

  • Public Holidays - Oncall Support
  • Shift Rotation (3 shifts)
