: Cybersecurity Engineering Senior Advisor - Splunk Dell Technologies drives businesses forward in a changing world. They are responsible for the planning and design of security technology architectures and focus on the implementation of technologies to protect Dell. What you\'ll achieve As a Cybersecurity Engineering Senior Advisor, you will be responsible for issue resolution on cybersecurity problems that may be diverse and highly complex, with emphasis on security operations, as well as select methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective security solutions. You will: . Work on cybersecurity problems that have medium to high complexity, with emphasis on security operations . Select methods and techniques for identifying and advocating effective security solutions . Specialize in security operations in one or more areas, including network, host, database, application, event management, cloud, cryptography, identity, and other emerging technology . Maintain and optimize tools, processes, documentation, reporting, and technologies, and defines success criteria for their effective usage . Here\'s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements .8+ years of professional experience in a Cybersecurity engineering role. . Experience with logging technologies and SPLUNK administration. . Familiar with DevSecOps and CI/CD deployment pipelines (GitLab, Ansible) . Good understanding of networking fundamentals e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, SSL. . Experience with security processes and documentation Desirable Requirements . Industry certifications relevant to the role from vendor such as SPLUNK, RSA, CISCO, PALO ALTO. . Experience with Firemon, Netwitness & Palo Alto Firewalls.
