: Government Relations Senior Advisor Strategic partnerships with government and industry groups are crucial to the success of Dell Technologies. What you\'ll achieve Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining programs to ensure the company\'s awareness and impact of legislation that affects its activities. Coordinate strategies to promote the company\'s point of view to federal and/or state regulators and legislators. Assist in promoting or promote company position on critical issues through developing and maintaining credible and professional relationships with government officials. Develop and maintain effective lines of communication with the offices of government officials. Gather intelligence and assist in the preparation of position papers, policy briefings, presentations and legislative testimony for pending legislative actions. Represent Dell in industry groups. You will: Research and monitor government activities that could impact the company\'s business, including legislation, regulations, and policy proposals. Build and maintain relationships with government officials, including elected officials, government staff, and other official representatives, think-tanks, and trade associations. Advocate for the company\'s interests on legislative and regulatory matters, working with government committees and industry bodies, drafting, and submitting comments on proposed legislation, and meeting with government officials to discuss and resolve the company\'s concerns. Develop authentic Points of View and execute the company\'s government relations strategy, in coordination with multi-functional teams in different geographies Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in Government Relations and policy & Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Here\'s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements Strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory process. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal leaders, government and broader audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with government and industry representatives. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable Requirements 10+ years of experience in Government Relations or public policy Graduate or Post graduate Master\'s degree in political science, public policy, technology, management, or a related field.
