About the Role



We are seeking a results-driven Senior Academic Counselor to join our team and represent a prestigious university. You will be responsible for counseling prospective students on our wide range of graduation and post-graduation courses. This role requires a strong understanding of the higher education landscape and the ability to effectively guide students and parents through the admissions process.

The ideal candidate will be a persuasive communicator with a passion for education and a proven track record in sales within the Ed-Tech sector.



Responsibilities



Conduct in-depth counseling sessions with prospective students and parents, both over the phone and in person, to understand their academic and career goals. Provide detailed information about the university's graduation and post-graduation programs, curriculum, fee structure, and career opportunities. Drive student enrollments to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly admission targets. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to enrollment conversion, using a CRM system to track all interactions. Actively follow up with leads and handle objections to ensure a high conversion rate. Participate in educational fairs, workshops, and other promotional events to generate new leads. Collaborate with the marketing team to align on messaging and promotional strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the university's offerings and the competitive landscape.

About You



You have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the Ed-Tech industry, which is mandatory.

You have a proven track record in a sales or counseling role, preferably within the education sector.

You possess excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. You are target-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure to achieve sales goals. You have a professional and empathetic approach to guiding students through a critical life decision. You are proficient in using CRM software to manage and track leads. You are based in Bangalore and can commute to our MG Road office.
