Senior Acquisition Integration Specialist - Accounting - Insurance Broking - 4+ Years - Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore
Location - Pune/Mumbai/Bangalore

This role focuses on system conversion, compliance, financial reporting, and stakeholder collaboration while ensuring high standards of accuracy, timeliness, and customer service.

Responsibilities -

• Lead accounting integration of new acquisitions, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance timelines.
• Review due diligence reports, prioritize pre- and post-close integration tasks, and partner with operations to implement necessary process changes.
• Host weekly integration calls with finance and acquisition teams to track progress.
• Facilitate business process review meetings, manage deliverables, and ensure "go live" readiness.
• Conduct training sessions on Finance Policies, Sarbanes-Oxley, and compliance requirements.
• Support receivables/payables cleanup and partner with Treasury for onboarding and closure of bank accounts.
• Perform accounting month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations for new acquisitions.
• Collaborate with Financial Systems teams to ensure smooth system conversions and verify data integrity.
• Provide training, mentorship, and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Requirements -

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in insurance brokerage accounting systems or equivalent; prior experience as a Brokerage Controller/Operations Manager highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley and corporate compliance requirements.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to quickly learn EPIC and other insurance agency management systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical problem-solver with keen attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a strong customer service focus.
