THE ROLE
The Senior Accounts Executive will be part of the Global Accounting Team and will be responsible for end-to-end accounting and statutory compliance for Trintech India operations.
This includes month-end and year-end closing activities, accounts payables & receivables, bank payment and reconciliations, general ledger reviews, as well as statutory financial and tax filings and audit coordination.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
Record day-to-day financial transactions in compliance with
Trintech India
and
Trintech US
accounting policies in ERP systems such as
Tally, NetSuite / Workday
.
Maintain separate books of accounts in accordance with
Indian GAAP (IGAAP)
.
Perform validation and accounting for payroll & long-term employee benefits, overhead expense accrual and prepaid expenses and fixed assets.
Manage intercompany billing, receipts, reconciliations, and foreign currency conversions.
Perform monthly book closure activities including preparation and review of journal vouchers and ledgers.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, including
Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss
, and
Management Information System (MIS)
reports as per prescribed formats.
Collaboration, account reporting and reconcilement with US accounting and central payroll team
2. Banking Operations
Upload and process
payroll payments
,
vendor payments
, and
employee reimbursements
for authorization and disbursement.
Prepare and manage foreign remittance documentation (
Forms A1, A2, 15CA, 15CB
) ensuring
FEMA
compliance.
Obtain and reconcile
FIRC certificates
, endorse export bills, and maintain related documentation.
3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Ensure accurate deduction and timely remittance of
withholding taxes
in accordance with the
Income Tax Act
.
Prepare workings and file quarterly
TDS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 24Q)
.
Compute
GST liabilities
, avail
input tax credits
, and file
GSTR-1, GSTR-2, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6
, and annual GST returns.
Maintain compliance with
PF, ESI, MSME, FLA, STPI, Softex, EDPMS
, and
FEMA
regulations.
Support periodic internal reviews and ensure adherence to statutory timelines.
4. Audit & Compliance Support
Coordinate with internal and external auditors for
statutory, tax, and transfer pricing audits
.
Prepare and maintain required documentation and schedules in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
Support implementation of
internal controls
and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Provide ad-hoc financial data, analysis, and reporting support for management and audit requirements.
WHO YOU ARE:
In-depth knowledge of accounting, TDS, GST, and other statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally, NetSuite, Workday, Concur, and MS Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred).
6-8 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and compliance within a multinational or outsourcing environment.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Tally, NetSuite, or Workday.
Strong understanding of Indian statutory laws, IGAAP, and practical experience in MIS preparation and reporting.
