About the Firm
M/s. Manohar Chowdhry & Associates is a reputed Chartered Accountant firm delivering specialized professional services in Income Tax, GST, Audit (Both Statutory and Internal) and Financial Advisory. With a strong client base across diverse industries and assignments involving large businesses, we are looking to onboard a highly experienced professional to strengthen our Tax practice.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Tax (Income Tax)
Independently manage Income Tax compliance, including ITR filings and preparation of detailed submissions.
Drafted and submitted 30-50 reply letters in response to Income Tax notices and assessment proceedings.
Represent clients before Income Tax authorities for hearings and assessments.
Review and finalize tax audits (handled 300+ cases in prior experience).
Indirect Tax (GST)
Draft replies to GST notices and represent clients before GST authorities.
Ensure timely compliance with GST provisions and provide advisory support.
Filing of Form GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, GSTR 9 and GSTR 9C.
Financial Statements & Audit
Prepared and finalized financial statements for companies in compliance with the Companies Act, handling turnovers ranging from 10 crores to 100 crores.
Oversee Statutory audits, Tax audits, and compliance deliverables.
TDS Compliance & Filings
Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, 27Q, 27EQ).
Generation and reconciliation of Form 16 and Form 16A.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of around 10 members, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.
Provide technical guidance, review team output, and support client interactions.
Desired Candidate Profile
CA Inter qualified with around 15 years of professional experience.
Experience in a Chartered Accountant / Auditor's office is mandatory.
Proven expertise in Income Tax, GST, and Financial Reporting.
Successfully handled 300+ tax audits and ITR filings.
Strong drafting, representation, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage large corporate assignments and lead teams effectively.
