Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors.

Forecasting

Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and cost optimization strategies.

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff. Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Process & Systems Improvement

Implement financial controls, policies, and procedures. Streamline accounting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. Optimising ERP - TALLY accounting software use.

Collaborations

Liaise with banks, tax authorities, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( MBA/ CA preferred). Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are highly desirable. Minimum

7-10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience

, with at least

3-5 years in a managerial role

. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations. Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills are mandatory. Proficiency in accounting Tally, ERP software and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Prior experience in the Civil Infrastructure industry and preferably Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai located will be considered an added advantage.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
