Job Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies. The role involves financial reporting, budgeting, tax management, and guiding junior accounting staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings. Monitor and analyze accounting data; produce financial reports and statements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Coordinate and support internal and external audits. Supervise, train, and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff. Review and verify expense reports, invoices, and journal entries. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely closing of accounts. Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and internal controls.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. Minimum

5-8 years

of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Proficiency in

Tally, ERP

Strong knowledge of

GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.

Advanced MS Excel and analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and leadership skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
