Job Description

5+ years of accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role within the restaurant, cafe, or hospitality sector. Solid understanding of restaurant accounting (e.g., cost of goods sold, labor costs, daily sales reports, POS data, etc.). Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, cash flow, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets. Monitor restaurant/cafe financial performance and advise on budgeting, cost control, and profitability improvements. Track inventory, vendor payments, and POS integration with accounting systems. Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and tax consultants. Lead month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure compliance with tax laws, licensing, and other regulatory requirements. Support operational teams with financial forecasting, KPI tracking, and cost analysis.
