The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting functions with a strong focus on GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and coordination of court-related matters. The role requires an experienced accounting professional with strong analytical skills, knowledge of tax regulations, and the ability to handle legal documentation and liaise with advocates whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate books of accounts (ledgers, vouchers, journal entries, bank reconciliation).
Monitor payable/receivable accounts, vendor payments, and financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
2. GST Compliance
Prepare and file all GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, Annual Return).
Handle GST reconciliation, input credit verification, and mismatch resolution.
Manage GST audit queries and ensure timely compliance with GST laws.
3. TDS Compliance
Calculation and deduction of TDS as per statutory requirements.
Preparation and filing of TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, etc.).
Generate TDS certificates and manage TDS-related queries.
4. Court & Legal Case Coordination
Prepare and organize financial documents required for court-related cases.
Liaise with legal counsel/advocates for case updates, hearings, and paperwork.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and compliance related to court notices, summons, or legal disputes.
Follow up on deadlines and ensure timely submission of required documents.
5. Statutory & Compliance Management
Maintain compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory regulations.
Manage audits (internal & statutory) and provide necessary documentation.
Assist in preparation of financial statements required for legal or compliance purposes.
6. General Administrative Support
Support the finance department in budgeting, MIS reporting, and cost analysis.
Maintain confidentiality and data integrity of financial records.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce/Finance (B.Com/M.Com).
5-7 years of relevant experience
in accounting, GST, and TDS.
Working knowledge of court-related documentation or legal case coordination is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of accounting software (Tally ERP, GST portals, etc.).
Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive tasks.
