Oversee hospital billing reconciliations and verify patient accounts and third-party payments (insurance, TPAs).
Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in supplier and vendor payments.
Reconcile bank statements, patient deposits, and internal department balances regularly.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits, including maintaining proper documentation.
Assist in budgeting and cost analysis related to hospital services, departments, and units.
Work closely with the billing, procurement, pharmacy, and HR departments for financial coordination.
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff and ensure adherence to accounting standards and hospital policies.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance (CA Inter/MBA in Finance preferred).
4-6 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS), ERP accounting software, and MS Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance related to hospitals.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with healthcare revenue cycle management or medical billing systems.
Knowledge of NABH and statutory audit practices in hospitals.
