We are looking for a dependable and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to oversee and manage the company's accounting functions, financial reporting, and compliance matters.
Role Overview:
The Senior Accounts Executive will handle core accounting functions and play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations. The role also requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, working closely with junior accounts staff and external consultants. The ideal candidate will not only be technically sound but also proactive and capable of mentoring or leading a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations:
Maintain day-to-day financial records, general ledger, and accounts
Manage invoicing, billing, receivables, payables, and reconciliations
Process payments, petty cash, employee reimbursements, and vendor follow-ups
Monitor bank transactions and cash flow
Compliance & Reporting:
Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns
Ensure timely closure of monthly and annual books
Prepare financial reports and assist with audits
Coordinate with external CA for statutory compliance and tax planning
Team Coordination:
Work collaboratively with junior accounts staff and support their training and development
Lead or support small teams during audits, reporting periods, or data compilation
Coordinate with internal departments for accurate data collection and reporting
Requirements:
B.Com/M.Com degree (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory)
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in managing full sets of company accounts
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and basic accounting software
Sound understanding of GST, TDS, and relevant Indian taxation laws
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams
Leadership qualities with the ability to manage or mentor junior team members
Preferred Skills:
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience in logistics, services, or compliance-based sectors
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and time management
Ability to multitask and work under deadlines
