Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to join our real estate development company. The successful candidate will manage financial records, oversee project accounting, ensure tax compliance, and support the financial health of our development projects. Experience in real estate or construction accounting is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers for multiple real estate projects. Manage accounts payable and receivable; ensure timely payments and collections. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Track project budgets, costs, and expenditures across development cycles. Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries. Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulatory requirements (e.g., VAT, GST, TDS, etc.). Assist in financial planning, cash flow forecasting, and budgeting. Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and senior management. Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. Process payroll and manage related financial compliance, if applicable.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting (real estate or construction industry preferred). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software in( Tally, ERP systems). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in real estate development accounting. Knowledge of construction cost tracking and project-based accounting.
