Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive with in-depth knowledge of travel industry accounting and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee the accounting process, manage team members, coordinate with vendors and clients, and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including entries, reconciliations, and ledgers.

Manage and supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in data entry.

Prepare and review B2B/B2C invoices and monitor receivables and payables.

Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations and report variances.

Review supplier statements (airlines, hotels, DMCs, consolidators) and handle dispute resolutions.

Prepare GST, TDS returns, and assist in annual audits and compliance documentation.

Generate MIS reports, P&L statements, and financial summaries for management.

Handle bank reconciliations, payment schedules, and cash flow management.

Coordinate with sales and operations teams to ensure financial alignment with business activities.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting or Finance.

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting within the travel and tourism industry (mandatory).

Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and advanced MS Excel.

Strong understanding of travel industry accounting (airlines, hotels, DMCs, GDS billing, commissions).

Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, income tax, and audit processes.

Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage deadlines, maintain accuracy, and lead a small finance team.
