Job Summary:

The Senior Accounts Executive will manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of handling complex accounts and supporting senior management in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage ledger entries, reconciliations, and journals.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and customer billing. Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.

Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns on time. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.

Budgeting & Reporting:

Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis. Provide financial insights and reports to management for decision-making.

Audit & Documentation:

Support internal and external audits. Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.

Team Coordination:

Mentor junior accounting staff and ensure smooth workflow in the accounts department. Coordinate with other departments to streamline financial processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 2-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in retail or jewellery sector. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
