. This role demands complete ownership of financial discipline, statutory compliance, reporting accuracy, export finance, and cross-functional coordination. The incumbent will also be responsible for mentoring and strengthening the finance team while aligning financial operations with management objectives.

Oversee end-to-end financial accounting and reporting for
office, warehouse, and export operations
Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts in line with
applicable accounting standards and company policies
Lead
monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
, including preparation of
P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports
Export Finance & Foreign Transactions
Manage
export finance and trade accounting
for flowers and pooja products
Verify export documentation, shipment expenses, and realization of export proceeds
Monitor and reconcile
foreign currency transactions, export incentives, and bank realizations
Statutory Compliance & Taxation
Ensure full compliance with
GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI
, and other applicable laws
Oversee preparation, review, and timely filing of all statutory returns and regulatory submissions
Act as the primary point of contact for
statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities
USA Finance & Consolidation
Manage
USA finance and accounting operations
in coordination with overseas accounting firms, banks, and tax advisors
Oversee
intercompany accounting, fund transfers
, and consolidation of
India and USA financial statements
Inventory, Cost & Operations Control
Supervise
warehouse and inventory accounting
, ensuring accurate stock valuation and reconciliation
Monitor wastage, losses, procurement, logistics, storage, and distribution costs
Support effective
cost control and margin improvement initiatives
Treasury & Working Capital
Manage banking operations,
cash flow planning
, and working capital requirements across India and USA entities
Ensure timely
vendor payments, customer collections
, and settlement of statutory dues
Budgeting, Controls & Governance
Lead preparation of
annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to management
Implement and strengthen
internal controls, SOPs, compliance frameworks
, and audit readiness
Leadership & Strategic Support
Establish and implement a structured
finance and accounting framework
aligned with organizational goals
Provide strategic financial insights and decision support to senior management
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team
Drive
process improvements, ERP enhancements, and automation initiatives

Proven experience in building and structuring finance teams and processes
Hands-on expertise in statutory compliance and export finance
Ability to work with cross-border teams and stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's / Master's degree in
Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
CA / CMA / MBA (Finance)
preferred
8-10 years
of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts
Strong knowledge of
accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance
Experience in
export accounting and foreign currency transactions
Prior exposure to
export-oriented, FMCG, agri-based, or manufacturing companies
Proficiency in
Tally / ERP / accounting software
