Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee the accounting and financial operations of our reputed diagnostics centre. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, prior experience in the

healthcare/diagnostics sector

, and the ability to ensure statutory compliance and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including books of accounts, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle billing, revenue accounting, and receivables related to diagnostics services. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including

GST, TDS, PF, ESI

, and other applicable laws. Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities. Monitor cash flow, bank transactions, and bank reconciliations. Supervise junior accounts staff and ensure timely closure of accounts. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure audit readiness. Support management with MIS reports and financial analysis.

Eligibility & Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com (Accounts background mandatory).

Experience:

Minimum

5 years of relevant experience

, preferably in a

diagnostics centre, hospital, or healthcare organization

.

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance. Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally or equivalent). Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting. Understanding of healthcare billing and revenue cycles preferred. High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Strong analytical, communication, and team-handling skills.
