Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Senior Accountant

to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support overall financial management. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with accounting systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end

general accounting

activities, including journal entries, ledgers, and reconciliations. Prepare and review

monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

. Handle

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

, including vendor management and customer billing. Perform

bank, vendor, intercompany, and balance sheet reconciliations

. Ensure

compliance with accounting standards

, internal policies, and statutory requirements. Assist in

month-end and year-end closing activities

. Support

audit processes

(internal and external) by providing required documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Analyze financial data and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting discrepancies.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (

B.Com-Honours with min. 50% of mark

) or Master's degree in Commerce (

M.Com

).

Min. 4-5 years of hands-on accounting experience

. Strong knowledge of

Tally / ERP systems

, MS Excel, and accounting principles. Good understanding of

GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances

. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
