dedicated, detail-oriented Accountant

to join our team and manage all taxation, compliance, and financial operations in-house at Bhawanipore, Kolkata.

About the Role:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally or equivalent accounting software. Record journal entries, maintain ledgers, reconcile bank statements, and manage cash flow.

Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file

GST returns

(GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return). Calculate and deposit

TDS

on time, file quarterly TDS returns. Handle

professional tax

,

ESI

and other statutory payments. Ensure compliance with all direct and indirect tax regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist management in budgeting, forecasting, and MIS reporting.

Audit & Liaison:

Coordinate with auditors for statutory and tax audits. Liaise with government authorities for assessments, notices, and queries.

Requirements:

Education:

B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.

Experience:

5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setup.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in

Tally ERP / Tally Prime

or other accounting software. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances. Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving mindset. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication skills for internal and external coordination.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
